Rose Reisman

Rose Reisman has enlightened, entertained and uplifted Canadians for over two decades. Rose has published 18 books in total which cover over 2000 recipes, chronic disease prevention, weight management, career stress and nutrition trends.

On top of a very full and rewarding career, Rose practices what she eats! Rose is a remarkably fit woman with four children, two German shepherds, 2 rag doll cats and a husband, not necessary in that order! Rose embodies a true zeal for her message.

Rose has partnered with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, CIBC, McCain’s Foods Canada, The Running Room and most recently Equinox. She helped raise over $1 million for the research, education and treatment of breast cancer.

Rose is a sought after speaker on national TV and radio, and a regular newspaper contributor across Canada. She is the owner of Rose Reisman Catering and Personal Gourmet, a food delivery service with a fresh and frozen food line. She is a restaurant consultant with her own menu at the Pickle Barrel chain, a restaurant serving over 50,000 patrons a week. “Glow” restaurant, a 300 seat establishment in Toronto features Rose Reisman’s fresh healthy menu.

Rose is an Adjunct professor at York University’s Department of Health; on the advisory board of York University and just presented recommendations on fighting childhood obesity with a team of experts to the Ontario government. Rose holds five university degrees, including an MBA specializing in marketing.

Rose won the prestigious Schulich School of Business Alumni Recognition Award for Outstanding Public Contribution, ORT, and was nominated for the 2009 Ernst and Yong Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2010, she was the “Top 100 Award Winner” in the Trailblazer and Trendsetter category in Canada’s Most Powerful Women of the Women’s Executive
