Maude Le Roux is an occupational therapist who has several years of field and supervisory experience in a variety of therapy and educational fields. Besides having several certifications in sound and timing therapies, she is also well known for her work in bridging the gap between child development and academic achievement. She has developed her own workshops linking sensory processing to executive functioning, while also analyzing what is necessary in the brain to achieve reading and math proficiency.
Ms. Le Roux also developed a workshop that links development to student well-being, which discusses the anxiety and behavior of the school student as it impacts their social functioning and academic achievement. Ms. Le Roux’s courses are not only informative, but also discusses intervention options and practical application of information shared. She has presented multiple workshops nationally and internationally and her latest book,co-authored with Lauren O’Malley, “Our Greatest Allies”.
Her mission is the occupational function of the child, the empowering of families, and building bridges across disciplines to establish teamwork with understanding.
